I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been a part of the Mental Health Community at a Mental Health Outpatient Hospital since 2008. I have a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from California Southern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology from Purdue University.
I am a trained Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) therapist focusing on skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to integrate into daily life.

While working at the Mental Health Hospital, I also was a substitute teacher, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) where I have acquired extensive experience with adolescents and adults with suicidal ideation, self-harm, PTSD, BPD, depression, and severe anxiety as well as other mental health issues.
