I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #5045) in the State of Colorado. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 1995, then returned to school in 2008 and received my Master’s in Community Counseling.
“Taking the first step to seek out assistance can often be the hardest step to take. Please allow me to help you through the process of moving forward in your life. Together we will work to create a plan, and goals, to help you live the best life you can live.” -Tisha
I have extensive training and experience working with trauma and attachment and recognize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and then working together to heal and lead happy; productive lives. I do not rely only on talk therapy as that is not the most effective way to work on trauma or highly emotional situations; I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to assist individuals in overcoming their past.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR),trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trained in Sand Play and have extensive training in attachment.
I look forward to continuing my work assisting individuals and their families to lead happy, healthy and productive lives.
