Yoga

  • Foundations of Yoga: Saturdays 10-11 am
  • Learn the fundamentals postures that are crucial for building a long healthy practice. We focus mainly on Asana (Posture) with a little bit of Pranayama (Breath Awareness) to work our way to meditation. Think of this class as a staircase to help build a safe practice that can go on all of your life.
  • Mindfulness Movement: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm
  • In this class we take traditional poses a bit further by adding our own expressions and variations. Allowing for deeper space to be created in the physical body for the mind-body connection to grow stronger and more intelligent. We coordinate breath with movement and expand awareness beyond posture into more subtle regions of the body. Think of this class as more of a meditation class, where we focus on more subtle energy within and around the physical body.
