Elizabeth Wilson, LPC, LAC

Info About Me

Welcome! My name is Elizabeth Wilson. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor at Reflective Wellness: Mind & body. I have experience working in private practice, residential settings, and in the community with populations of all ages that suffer from mental illness, trauma, substance abuse and/or behavioral issues. I have experience working with families, adolescents, adults, and couples.

As a trauma therapist I work to provide a safe space for you to process how trauma impacts your brain and body. We will work on symptoms and the root cause of trauma.

I work to help establish boundaries, build on coping skills, teach relationship skills, improve communication and find ways to reduce symptoms you are experiencing, not only mentally but physically as well. I use meditation to help reduce mental health symptoms and get a better understanding of how they can also impact your physical health.

How I help

It is extremely important to tap into your strengths and find ways to empower you. When you are in session you will find yourself in a nonjudgmental safe space. We will come up with an individualized plan that helps you work on growth. Each week you will go home with skills to work on.

More about me

I am a Colorado native, I enjoy going for walks and spending time with my family. For self-care I do Zumba and work on various projects. I also enjoy Ted talks and any opportunity to learn something new.
