Kira Rosemond, MA, LPCC
My name is Kira Rosemond (she/her) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. I utilize a person-centered approach with a focus on emotion regulation. I primarily work with children and young adults, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and strengths-based interventions to get my clients on the healing path they want to be on.
I want to get to know you and collaborate with you on your journey to better mental wellness. I believe it is important to have a safe space to laugh in, grow in, and be challenged by, and this is what I am trying to build with my clients.
I graduated from the University of Denver with a Masters in forensic psychology in 2023. I have spent time working with children and young adults involved in human services with a primary focus on trauma-informed care.
When I am not working, I enjoy painting, paddle boarding, and working on my amateur photography skills. I have a sweet doggo named Juniper who I also enjoy taking with me on outdoor excursions!
