Jennifer Stanga MSW, LCSW

Hi!

My name is Jennifer Stanga. I am a Licensed Social Worker at Reflective Wellness: Mind & Body. I am also completing my doctoral studies in clinical behavioral health.

I usually have a furry co-therapist with me, a lab named Rocky! He is trained both as an emotional support animal and as a trauma-related therapy dog. I have practiced in Utah, Florida, and now in Colorado.

During our time together, we will work on addressing negative thoughts and behaviors from trauma, stress, depression, and/or anxiety.

Info on modalities:

As a TRAUMA-INFORMED clinician, I am here to provide a safe and open space. We can work through racial-related trauma and the impact of oppression in our society towards marginalized communities. We work on different trauma-healing modalities

As a MILITARY-FRIENDLY clinician, we work through traumas associated with the military community. I work with active-duty service members and families to help with adjusting to different duty-stations, deployments, combat-related trauma, loneliness, and other military-related stressors. As an active-duty military spouse, this is something that is close to my heart!

As an ANXIETY and DEPRESSION specialist, we work together to use mindfulness and other coping skills. This anxiety can look like obsessive disorders, hoarding, general anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. We work through how depression can sneak up as different symptoms such as tiredness, lack of motivation, eating-related dysfunctions, and other symptoms.

With a SAFE space to hold all identities and demographics, you are free to be who you are and share your story without judgement. The therapeutic space is intended to be warm, comforting, and calming. This is your space to focus on your wellness with me to help guide you towards your goals.

More about me:

When I am not a therapist, I try to be outside as much as possible! I enjoy running, biking, dancing, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy true-crime documentaries and podcasts, reading, and painting.

I am excited to get to know you and help you through your healing journey.
